SUMMER DRESSES

After spending this whole month flipping through magazines, I noticed that the hottest fashion item this season is a dress. Maxi or Mini, It don't matter! The metallic textures and embroided details on this season's dresses will make up for the lack of jewelry and other accessories. Below, I made a selection of my favorite dresses for this summer. Personally I think the highlight of SS14 is the cropped dress with metalic shades from Proenza Schouler.

Obsessed with the 90s!

This season the 90s have a big comeback. On catwalks you can see everything from clothes with famous logos to denim overalls (as seen on the Chanel and Moschino catwalks). There's a big thow back to the 90s going on and it's not only in the fahion world. Lately, 90's movies became really popoular on social networks. Many use quotation from big 90s blasts, such as "Clueless" (1995), "Friends" (TV series), "Can't Hardly Wait" (1998), "Fight Club" (1999), "Pretty Woman" (1990) and so on.

I must admit, I, myself am a huge 90s fan. My favorite all-time 90s movies being Clueless, I assume it's a bit awkward to love a movie which appeared no sooner that the year I was borned. I just completly adore the main character, Cher (and her wardrobe obviously), everything seems so natural and realistic compared to post-90s high school movies we're all use to. So when I saw Iggy Azalea's new music video "Fancy" featuring Carli XCX tottaly Clueless inspired, I was simply overwhelmed with excitement.

Rita Ora's Material Girl camapign just dropped, providing us with new graphic-prints witha 90s allure for spring!Madonna and her daughter, Lourdes Leon, revealed the new spring line and who would have been better to represent the girl power clothing line than Rita Ora?

Lately, Rita Ora has been gaining a lot of attention for her edgy and bold appearences, so it comes as no surprise to see Rita as the face of so many fashion& beauty comapaings including her debut on the DKNY catwalk in New York. We're as exited as she is for the colaboration with Madonna (yes, we know she's a huge fan of the queen of pop). Also, Rita's teaming up with Rimmel London for a range of pop art inspired colors featuring twelve bold nail polish and vibrant lip styles with the Lasting Finish Color Rush Balm in five new hues.

3 Ways of Matching High-Waisted Black Shorts

Short shorts can be a little tricky to wear without, how should I put it?... looking slightly indecent. So I fashioned three ways of wearing high-waisted black shorts for daily schedules.

First outfit, I choosed it to be sort of casual and very comfortable featuring a striped black& white baggy jumper and black ankle boots with strapes. Also some red lipstick and a flowery headband to girl up the outfit never hurts!

The next outfit, brings a little street style to it. I matched the black shorts with a beige knitted top, some army print shoes and a cute beanie and created a cute yet sporty urban look.

For the last outfit, I thought I'd go for a more classy look. The blue laced top looks gorgeous and really chic with the ankle heeled boots and maybe some black stockings to complete the outfit.
