After spending this whole month flipping through magazines, I noticed that the hottest fashion item of the moment are dresses. Maxi or Mini, It don't matter! Dresses are the item to go for this summer! So I made a selection of my favorite ones this season. Personally I think the highlight of SS14 is the amazing cropped with metalic shades dress from Proenza Schouler.

Coats for cold weather

Although it's already spring, the tempreture is still low and the weather is chilly. So, winter clothing is still required in order to keep cozy. Fortunatly, we can still rock a winter coat without looking layered up and our favorite celeb girls show us how!

Obsessed with the 90s!

This season the 90s have a big comeback. On catwalks you can see everything from clothes with famous logos to denim overalls (as seen on the Chanel and Moschino catwalks). There's a big thow back to the 90s going on and it's not only in the fahion world. Lately, 90's movies became really popoular on social networks. Many use quotation from big 90s blasts, such as "Clueless" (1995), "Friends" (TV series), "Can't Hardly Wait" (1998), "Fight Club" (1999), "Pretty Woman" (1990) and so on.

I must admit, I, myself am a huge 90s fan. My favorite all-time 90s movies being Clueless, I assume it's a bit awkward to love a movie which appeared no sooner that the year I was borned. I just completly adore the main character, Cher (and her wardrobe obviously), everything seems so natural and realistic compared to post-90s high school movies we're all use to. So when I saw Iggy Azalea's new music video "Fancy" featuring Carli XCX tottaly Clueless inspired, I was simply overwhelmed with excitement.

Rita Ora Officially Takes Over Fashion& Beauty!

Rita Ora's Material Girl camapign just dropped, providing us with new graphic-prints witha 90s allure for spring!Madonna and her daughter, Lourdes Leon, revealed the new spring line and who would have been better to represent the girl power clothing line than Rita Ora?

Lately, Rita Ora has been gaining a lot of attention for her edgy and bold appearences, so it comes as no surprise to see Rita as the face of so many fashion& beauty comapaings including her debut on the DKNY catwalk in New York. We're as exited as she is for the colaboration with Madonna (yes, we know she's a huge fan of the queen of pop). Also, Rita's teaming up with Rimmel London for a range of pop art inspired colors featuring twelve bold nail polish and vibrant lip styles with the Lasting Finish Color Rush Balm in five new hues.

And this week is getting even better! Rita Ora officially announced her second album she's currently working on the video of her new song "I Will Never Let You Down". See the sneak peak of the video right here.

3 Ways of Matching High-Waisted Black Shorts

Short shorts can be a little tricky to wear without, how should I put it?... looking slightly indecent. So I fashioned three ways of wearing high-waisted black shorts for daily schedules.

First outfit, I choosed it to be sort of casual and very comfortable featuring a striped black& white baggy jumper and black ankle boots with strapes. Also some red lipstick and a flowery headband to girl up the outfit never hurts!

The next outfit, brings a little street style to it. I matched the black shorts with a beige knitted top, some army print shoes and a cute beanie and created a cute yet sporty urban look.

For the last outfit, I thought I'd go for a more classy look. The blue laced top looks gorgeous and really chic with the ankle heeled boots and maybe some black stockings to complete the outfit.

The Highlights of NYC Fashion Week 2014

"Every spring, the women of New York would leave the foolish choices of their past behind and look forward to the future, this is known as Fashion Week."
Carrie Bradshaw, Sex and the City (2008)

Truth be told, no one beats Carrie Bradshaw at introductions, just how no one would have described Fashion Week better. New year, new clothes. And designers didn't let 2014 start without brand new collections. The first day of New York Fashion Week saw a number of celebrities, including actresses, TV personalities, models and athletes coming down the runways. My favorite was the dress Anna Sophia-Robb presented by Alice + Olivia, a lovely black off-shoulder gown with red lace motif all over. Also, celebrities like Bella Thorne, Victoria Justice and Kat Graham walked in some really stunning red gowns.

However, some Street Style outfits caught my eye. Obviously, the place was crawling with fahion editors, models, stylists and celebrities sporting fabulous designer clothes, so the number of items I saw in the photos, that I (hearted) are nearly limitless. I selecred a few though, here they are:

Actress, Anna Shophia-Robb
Style Development Editor for Glamour, Christina Perez
Model, Karlie Kloss
Blogger, Leandra Medine

Layer Up! It's Still Winter

Winter is not over, we're barely in February and there's a long way to the summer-spring sunny weather. So, untill then the only thing we can do is look stylish while covering up like Heidi Kulm, Miranda Kerr and Gwen Stefani. As you can see black wintercoats and leather are still big these season and they would probably last for a while. Therefor, you could gently mix a long black wintercoat with some black leather leggings, a knitted top preferably a pastel colour and a pair of black studded boots.
That should do the trick!
